Weybridge Male Voice Choir

Continuing the choir's occasional partnerships with local brass bands we were delighted to  join the celebrated Friary Guildford Brass Band in a concert on 10 April at Holy Trinity Church, Guildford, in support of WaterAid. The event raised over £700 for this important charity.

The band, under their conductor Chris King, were in top form with an exhilarating performance of popular and one or two less well-known items from the brass band repertoire, culminating inWagner's magnificent 'Procession to the Altar'

Christine Best directed the choir  with her usual humour and aplomb in a varied selection of numbers and the concert ended with the band and the choir leading the audience in a rousing finale of 'Jerusalem' and 'Land of Hope and Glory'.
